Peregrine Makes It Four At Cheltenham The Peter Fahey trained Peregrine Run made it four wins on the bounce with a stylish victory in the Neptune Investment Management Hyde Novices´ Hurdle at Cheltenham. The 6-y-o son of King's Theatre began his sequence with a Maiden Hurdle victory at Down Royal in August and followed up with successes at Gowran Park and Limerick before today's Grade 2 win. Roger Loughran, who has been aboard for all the victories, gave the gelding a confident hold-up ride, cruising into contention approaching the home turn before striking the front shortly after the last to beat Wholstone by one length. Fahey puts the horse's recent improvement down to better ground and is already eyeing a return to Cheltenham for the Festival in March.
