Perth's Tuesday card abandoned Tuesday's meeting at Perth has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track while Wednesday's fixture is subject to an inspection. Clerk of the course Harriet Graham was left with little choice but to call off Tuesday's card after heavy rain at the Scottish venue left areas of standing water on the track. Graham will now assess conditions at 9.30am on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's meeting. She said: "We have had torrential rain and there's some standing water on the track. "The forecast is not as bad tomorrow for Wednesday as it was for yesterday coming into today. The area from the two-mile-four start round the back straight is our biggest problem, but if we get a few dry hours we can start pumping the water off. "We pump water quite often here but we do need it to be dry to do so, otherwise we just create a lot of mud."
