Perth two-day meeting abandoned The jumps fixtures at Perth on Tuesday and Wednesday have been abandoned due to a waterlogged track. Clerk of the course Harriet Graham was left with little choice but to call off Tuesday's meeting after heavy rain at the Scottish venue left areas of standing water on the track. Graham later brought forward an intended Tuesday morning inspection for Wednesday's fixture as the rain refused to relent at the Scottish circuit. Thirty-eight millimetres of rainfall over the last 48 hours confirmed the inevitable, with the double-header promptly abandoned on Monday afternoon. Graham tweeted: "Waterlogged course and still raining. Ground-staff have pumped (water) all week but still water everywhere."
