Plans on hold for Minella Future plans are up in the air for leading hunter chaser Minella For Value after he was pulled up at Listowel on Monday. Declan Queally’s veteran was a dominant winner over the popular On The Fringe at Killarney last month and was odds-on to confirm his superiority at Listowel. However, Minella For Value was pulled up quickly at the halfway stage and the Enda Bolger-trained On The Fringe went on to secure victory. Queally said: "He's grand. He went lame during the race, which was disappointing, but he's walking again now. "We haven’t scanned the leg yet so we don’t know the full extent of the damage. "He's 12 now and we’ll give him a break and see what happens. "He might run again or mightn't. We’ll see."
