Power has Temple Stakes in his sights Former winners Sole Power and Kingsgate Native head the 13 remaining possibles in Saturday's Betfred Temple Stakes at Haydock. Both sprinters are regulars in the Group Two event, with Sole Power beating his old rival in 2011, finishing second to Bated Breath in 2012 and fourth behind Kingsgate Native 12 months ago. Kingsgate Native also won back in 2010, accounting for Equiano, and the pair showed they had lost none of their dash at Newmarket earlier in the month with Sole Power coming out on top in the Palace House Stakes by half a length. Several who finished further behind that day are in line to take them on again in the shape of t he three-year-old Hot Streak who was third, the sixth home Justineo and eighth Pearl Secret. Dutch Masterpiece, Hamza, Justice Day and Smoothtalkinrascal stand their ground along with the Jim Goldie duo of Hawkeyethenoo and Jack Dexter. Mirza and Kingsgate Choice are the other possibles.
