Prendergast happy enough with his Guineas pair Kevin Prendergast was pleased with Crystal Gal, who finished a close seventh in the Irish 1000 Guineas, and Moyglare winner Termagant in ninth. Termagant was in season, which partly explains her slight disappointing run, but Prendergast has now ruled out a trip to Epsom for the Oaks. "They've both come out of the race good, but Termagant showed up a little bit in season," said Prendergast. "I wouldn't totally blame that and maybe the ground was a little bit quick for her. "The other filly (Crystal Gal) got stopped in her run and she was only beaten just over two lengths. "They ran well, but we would have liked to have got some black type. "The Oaks trip is definitely out for Termagant now. We'll look to step her up in trip, maybe something like the Pretty Polly (Curragh, June 26). "We'll step Crystal Gal up as well but a lot depends on the ground for her, it would definitely have been too firm for her. "We were happy enough with both of them, they both ran respectable races."
