Proportions Run A Mystery

Pascal Bary has found no obvious reason to explain Divine Proportion´s below-par run in Sunday´s Prix Jacques le Marois.

The star French filly was odds-on to extend her unbeaten run to 10 in the Deauville mile showpiece, but she lacked any real purpose in the final furlong to come in a disappointing fourth behind Dubawi.

Bary said: “We´ve carried out all the routine tests and nothing´s shown up.

“Divine Proportions is fine and she´ll now have a bit of a break and then be prepared for the Breeders´ Cup Mile, which will be her next run.”
