Pulse set for Aintree on Saturday Tom Taaffe plans to send Finger Onthe Pulse across the Irish Sea for his first start of the new season in the totetentofollow Old Roan Chase at Aintree on Saturday. "I haven't had the chance to have a look at the handicap yet, or what weight he would get, but the plan at this stage is certainly to travel," said the County Kildare handler. "He's done well since he came back in and seems in good order. "We are looking forward to the season and this seems a nice race for him start off. "He just likes nice, good ground so hopefully he will get his conditions at Aintree."
