Patrick Carey's Seskin Flyer was the final leg of a 207/1 treble for Cian Quirke in Kilbeggan this evening.

The evergreen 12-year-old attracted plenty of support down to 6/1 and showed his rivals a clean pair of heels off the front in the Summer Saturday Festival Handicap Steeplechase.

Quirke drove him home by three and a-half lengths from Fr Gilligansvoyge (16/1). Tick Along (11/2jf) completed the placings in third, beaten eight and a-half lengths by the victor.

“He's a grand, honest, old horse and he's been a great servant,” said winning owner Liam Phelan, who was leading up the winner.

Quirke's other winners came on Kellie's Dream (5/2f) and Pakens Rock (15/2). This was the first treble of his career.
