Rembrandt A Picture After Cheltenham Flop Sir Rembrandt suffered no ill-effects after his poor performance at Cheltenham last weekend and is to be aimed at the Coral Welsh National.Robert Alner's chaser, who has been placed in two Gold Cups, made a fine reappearance in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby but was pulled up in the Servo Computer Services Trophy Handicap at Prestbury Park.He was ridden by Mick Fitzgerald for the first time in the absence of the injured Andrew Thornton and Alner was quick to praise the jockey for not being too hard on the horse.'He's absolutely fine. I just think he had a really hard race in the Charlie Hall,' reasoned Alner.'I was thrilled with him that day to be third (at Wetherby) but it wasn't his day at Cheltenham last weekend.'I'm really appreciative that the jockey didn't hammer him because if a horse is beat he is beat, there is no point in hammering him.'We'll be giving him a week off and then we will start planning for the Welsh National, that is Plan A,' Alner told Racing UK.?
