Request Ruled Out Noble Request has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a stress fracture of a bone above his hock.The six-year-old had been as low as 16-1 with Ladbrokes for the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle after finishing second in two Grade One events this season.However, trainer Philip Hobbs confirmed Noble Request will not be seen again this term.'Noble Request has a stress fracture to a bone above his hock and is out for the season, but the prognosis is good for the future and hopefully he will be back next season,' Hobbs told the Racing Post.'Obviously these things happen but he is a very good horse and it is a big blow for the yard and his owners David and Karola Vann.'(C) PA Sport
