Rhinestone To Run Again

Rhinestone Cowboy is to be given another chance to show he retains his ability despite being pulled up on his comeback run at Haydock.

The 10-year-old was always towards the rear before crying enough before the final flight when carrying top weight in a handicap hurdle won by United in his first race for 32 months.

'The ground was was really bad at Haydock and it was hard to know whether he was right or wrong so we'll keep him going a bit longer, give him another spin and see how he goes,' said trainer Jonjo O'Neill.

'He seems in tip-top form at home. We are delighted with him, but it was disappointing the way he ran at Haydock.

'If he doesn't shape up better than that we will retire him. He seems so good at home, you have to give him another chance,' he told Racing UK.
