Riding team pleasing Meade Trainer Noel Meade is pleased with the team of riders he has at his disposal despite stable jockey Paul Carberry's long-term injury. Carberry will not return to action until next year after suffering a broken femur in a fall at the Listowel Festival in September. However, Meade can still call on the services of leading conditional jockey Ger Fox, while Sean Flanagan is also riding out at Tu Va stables. Jonathan Moore, a 21-year-old from Adamstown in Wexford, is a new addition to the team, but advertised his talents when guiding Tulsa Jack to victory in Sunday's Cork Grand National. "Barry Geraghty recommended him (Moore) to me and said he was a very good rider," said Meade. "For a 7lb claimer, he was unbelievable on Sunday. He saved every inch all the way around and the horse has never jumped better. "Ger is a great worker and as brave as a lion. He tries all the time. "Sean Flanagan is also a great lad with a great pair of hands." Providing an update on Carberry's recovery, the trainer said: "The problem with Paul is it's going to take so long - at least another three months for him to get back. "I was talking to his surgeon the other day and he was very happy with how he's progressing."
