Ruler among Irish Derby eleven Investec Derby winner Ruler Of The World could be joined by stablemate Festive Cheer in Saturday's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at The Curragh. Trainer Aidan O'Brien admitted they were his likely runners at a Monday press conference although he has also left Battle Of Marengo and Count Limonade in the race. The quartet feature among 11 six-day acceptors for the Classic after Godolphin supplemented both Epsom runner-up Libertarian and potential pacemaker Cap O'Rushes. Galileo Rock, third in the English Derby, is an intended runner on Saturday and faces a rematch with Sugar Boy who swerved Epsom having had both David Wachman's charge - and Libertarian - behind him when winning at Sandown in May. John Oxx will be represented by Little White Cloud, who has run well in the Derrinstown Trial and the Gallinule Stakes. "He's an outsider but is a nice horse and ran well in two trials," said Oxx. "He ran well behind Battle Of Marengo at Leopardstown and that was just four weeks after he had a bit of a virus. It was plenty soon enough to run him and I thought he ran well. "We've had a bad start to the year with a virus which knocked us for six and slowed the momentum. I'll have a two-year-old runner on Sunday and we're looking forward to the two-year-olds as the three-year-olds are a bit lacking this year." Jim Bolger's Trading Leather and the Pat Shanahan trained Ralston Road complete the field.
