Russell returns to action Davy Russell makes a welcome return to action this weekend having recovered quicker than anticipated from a fractured leg at Listowel just over five weeks ago. The Youghal rider suffered a fractured shin bone when Mister Two Fifty fell in the Kevin McManus Beginners Chase at the Co. Kerry Festival meeting on September 16. Russell is making a quiet return to the saddle with one mount at Wexford tomorrow aboard the Charles Byrnes-trained Rockys Choice in the Carne Beginners Chase. He will also have just one ride at Galway on Sunday when partnering Start Me Up, trained by Charlie Swan, in the CCTV Venue Control Maiden Hurdle.
