Russell returns Jockey Davy Russell is to return to raceriding at Aintree tomorrow, having recovered from a wrist injury suffered at Thurles on March 24. Russell suffered a minor fracture to his wrist in a fall from Academy Rose but has since recovered and will make his comeback on Carlito Brigante in the opening race of the Festival, the Grade 1 Liverpool Hurdle. Russell yesterday stated "I rode out a couple of lots and my hand feels great, so all roads lead to Aintree." Russell rides Becauseicouldntsee in Saturday's Grand National. Thomas Weekes
