Ryan Moore rides at Roscommon for the first time this evening when partnering hot-favourite Espionage in the featured Irish Stallion Farms EBF Lenebane Stakes.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt makes his seasonal debut in the €40,000 Listed event and looks sure to go off a warm order (currently around evens favourite) having shown smart form as a juvenile.

The son of Galileo won a Curragh maiden in good style before just being denied by Proud And Regal in a tight finish to the Group 1 Criterium International at Saint-Cloud.

The John O’Donoghue-trained Kingswood supported into 7/2 (from 5/1), looks the chief threat among his nine rivals on his staying on third in the Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh.

The eight-race card at Roscommon gets underway at 4.45 and the Kevin Prendergast-trained Profit Refused is a shade of odds-on in the opening Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden following an eye-catching debut third to subsequent Royal Ascot winner Snellen at Limerick last month.

Ger Lyons has a good record at this venue and Gary Carroll is aboard a couple of well-backed runners in the shape of Gypsy Woman (5.20) and Mr King (6.50), while Hazy Mehmory has also attracted some support in the 7.20.

The going at the mid-western venue is currently described as good, good to yielding in places with the possibility of approximately 3mm of rain up to 3pm this afternoon and mainly dry afterwards.

Racing also takes place at Tipperary this afternoon with an all chase card commencing at 1.35pm, and the going remains good to yielding following 8mm of rain in the last 24 hours.

Simon Torrens has a couple of good opportunities in the opening two races with Roseys Hollow likely to go off a short price for the opener in the absence of Finest Evermore while he will also be wearing the JP McManus colours aboard Cayd Boy for trainer Liz Doyle half-an-hour later.

McManus also has good prospects later on with the Robert Tyner-trained Search For A Myth in the 4.35.

Paul Townend returns to action following the mid-summer break for senior jump jockeys and, in the absence of Finest Evermore, has just the one ride aboard favourite Inclusion at 3.35.
