Sangsters Wait On Gosden Replacement The Sangster family intend to continue training at Manton despite current resident John Gosden´s decision to purchase new premises in Newmarket. Gosden has bought Clarehaven Stables, from where Alec Stewart sent out Mtoto to win two Eclipse Stakes and a King George, and will vacate Manton by the end of February 2006. In a statement, the family said: 'During his very successful six-year tenure John trained over 400 winners at Manton including numerous Group and Classic horses, earning his owners over #7 million in prize money. 'Obviously at this moment no decisions have been made regarding the future of Manton but it is the family´s present intention to continue training there. 'The property now consists of four separate yards, three different all-weather surfaces and arguably the finest private grass gallops in the country. The continued development at Manton now means we could accommodate more than one trainer in the future. 'The Sangster family would like to thank John for continuing the tradition of success at Manton and wish him the best of luck in the future.'(C) PA Sport
