Scallan has suspension reduced The Turf Club`s Appeals and Referrals Committee today reduced Paul Scallan`s 7 day Killarney ban for changing his equipment to 2 days.Scallan had received the suspension for weighing in 1lb overweight on Newtown Breeze after changing equipment despite being warned not to do so.The Committee were satisfied that Scallan was in breach of the rules but in view of his good record they reduced his suspension to two days, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th July.
