All roads lead to what is shaping up to be a mouthwatering renewal of the Tattersalls Sceptre Sessions Cheveley Park Stakes for last weekend's brilliant Prix Morny winner Senorita Bonita .

The Starspangledbanner filly has not looked back since finishing best of the rest behind Victorious in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, getting the better of subsequent Lowther Stakes heroine Libertango in the Duchess of Cambridge at Newmarket before emphatically beating the boys at Group One level last weekend.

Simon and Ed Crisford's filly is a 9-4 shot to claim another top-level prize at Newmarket on September 26 with William Hill, who make Aidan O'Brien's Phoenix Stakes and runaway York winner Sun Goddess their 7-4 favourite and George Boughey's Libertango 7-2.

Crisford Outlines Cheveley Park Ambitions

Ed Crisford reports Senorita Bonita to have returned from her French success in fine fettle and is now relishing an end-of-season dust up on the Rowley Mile at the end end of next month.

“She's come out of it great, it was a really good performance and we'll head for the Cheveley Park,” he said.

“I guess it's going to be a pretty decent race, but I thought our performance in the Prix Morny against the colts was a very, very good performance.

“We're still five weeks away from the Cheveley Park, so there's a bit of water to pass under the bridge and we'll see how she is between now and then, but it should be a good race.”
