Shoot To Kill nails Dynamic Force in Roscommon Shoot To Kill (10/1) got up to deprive Dynamic Force by a head in the www.roscommonracecourse.ie Handicap over an extended seven-furlongs. He was one of several horses who didn't enjoy the clearest of passages but, once he got a seam inside the final furlong, he rattled home for Jack Kearney to catch Dynamic Force (10/1) on the line. Eddie G (18/1) was a length and a-half back in third. Shoot To Kill was making a return to turf after an extensive stint on the Polytrack at Dundalk. Stephen Thorne said: “That’s the 100th winner for Shamrock Thoroughbreds. We are going seven or eight years now and I’m very grateful to so many people for all their support. “I was keen to give him a break after the all-weather because he’s been busy and he won twice as well. “I thought coming here he was on a stiff enough mark but he’s holding his form really well. He’s freshened up and the break has paid off well. “The race worked out perfectly as he was quite keen early, but they went hard, and he was lucky enough to find the gaps and was good at the line. “They have done a lovely job on the track and there is a lovely covering of grass. It’s nice, good ground.” Additional reporting by Alan Magee
