The Shunter is set to return in the New Year after his Greatwood Hurdle victory at Cheltenham last month.

Emmet Mullins' charge claimed the valuable handicap contest last month in good style to record his third win since joining the yard.

He now holds a mark of 134 over hurdles while the Stowaway gelding is rated a couple of pounds lower over fences.

The seven-year-old won a beginners chase at Punchestown in late September and Mullins has revealed that his next outing could be over the larger obstacles:-

“He's had a bit of a break and will come back in the New Year.

“We might go over fences again and wait for some better ground in the spring to go back over hurdles.”
