Silver Birch due for Nenagh reappearance on Saturday Gordon Elliott's 2007 Aintree Grand National hero Silver Birch is due to reappear at Nenagh point to point on Saturday. The gelding has not run since then but is one of 20 entries in the Ladies Open (officially due off at 2.00pm, but sure to be run much later due to earlier divides) at the Co Tipperary track. Silver Birch began his career with Elliott when finishing second in a point to point at Castletown in Autumn 2006 before going on to win the National later that season.
