Six Furlongs Next For Tithonus Rockingham Handicap winner Tithonus will step up in trip for the Tote Scurry at the Curragh on Saturday. The six-year-old gelding showed plenty of guts when it mattered to keep Hit The Bid at bay by a neck in the valuable premier handicap over five furlongs on Derby weekend. Trainer Denis Hogan said: "He's in good form and it was a brilliant day. "He's actually come out of the race great. That was his first run since April so you'd hope he'd be even sharper next time. "He's gone up 4lb, which is reasonable, so we'll go up to six furlongs now for the Scurry. "It's great to get him back on track as he had ulcers earlier in the year and that's now been sorted. "Rory (Cleary) gave him a great ride so hopefully he can continue at the Curragh." Tithonus was raised 4lbs for his Rockingham victory.
