Eddie Lynam reports Slade Power to be back in full training as the top sprinter prepares to end his racing career in Australia.

The five-year-old suffered a bout of ringworm which prevented him going for the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock and attempting a major treble after his wins in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes and July Cup this summer.

However, he is fine again now and is being aimed a the VRC Sprint Classic, the penultimate leg of the Global Sprint Challenge, at Flemington on November 8 before being retired and taking up stallion duties.

"He's in good form. He's back in full work and he'll be going into quarantine in a few weeks with a view to sending him to Australia at the beginning of October," said Lynam.
