A big challenge faces Slade Power when he heads to Australia later this year with some daunting names among the 60 entries for the Darley Classic at Flemington on November 8.

Eddie Lynam's five-year-old, who has been continuing his preparations on the gallops in Ireland since his victories in the Diamond Jubilee and July Cup, will net an Aus 600,000 dollar bonus from the Victoria Racing Club if taking a third leg of the Global Sprint Challenge.

Standing in his way is Australia's leading six-furlong performer Lankan Rupee, a multiple Group One winner who is set for his next appearance at Moonee Valley on Friday.

Other useful contenders are the top New Zealand mare Bounding, the versatile Boban and the defending champion Buffering as well as up-and-coming youngsters Hallowed Crown, Earthquake and Rubick.
