This evening's Flat meeting at Sligo has been abandoned due to heavy rain.
The course passed an inspection early this morning but following another planned inspection of the track at midday the decision to call off the meeting was taken.
Sligo is scheduled to race again tomorrow with an all National Hunt fixture and the Turf Club has announced that there will be an inspection of the course at 8am tomorrow morning to determine the prospects for racing on Thursday.
