Snowfire heads for Epsom Snowfire will bypass her Classic engagement in Ireland this weekend and head instead for the Vodafone Oaks at Epsom two weeks on Friday.John Dunlop`s filly finished a fine second to Kazzia, beaten just a quarter of a length, in the Sagitta 1000 Guineas and had been thought likely to tackle the Entenmann`s-sponsored Irish equivalent at The Curragh on Sunday.But Dunlop`s racing secretary Marcus Hosgood said today: 'The owner and trainer have consulted and they have decided that she should go to Epsom.'Snowfire is daughter of Machiavellian but hopes are high in the Arundel camp that she will stay the mile and a half trip in the Oaks.'She`s out of a Reference Point mare,' added Hosgood, who described Snowfire as being 'fine' since her Newmarket exertions.Dunlop will be bidding for a third success in the fillies` Classic following Circus Plume in 1984 and the great Salsabil in 1990.
