Soul Love shows good attitude to land Yeomanstown Stud Stakes The Karl Burke-trained Soul Love (15/8) was an impressive winner of the Yeomanstown Stud Listed Stakes. The daughter of Starman travelled powerfully throughout the contest and, when let down by rider Pierre-Louis Jamin, she showed a good attitude to keep her head in front and deny the onrushing Dancing Saxon to win the feature event by half a length. Speaking after the race, trainer Karl Burke said: "Here and Leopardstown have been very lucky for me. We've had some nice winners here. She's such a tough filly, very game, very honest. To do that with a penalty. We'll try and pick up some Group 3 black type somewhere hopefully. I'm very happy with that. "She's backed up a very good run the last day. It was only two weeks ago at York. She's pretty professional. I'm not sure where we'll go next but we'll try and find some Group 3 somewhere." (Quotes from John O'Riordan)
