Spencer Loses Cool in Hong Kong Jamie Spencer fell foul of the stewards at Sha Tin over the weekend having been involved in an altercation with Belgian rider Christophe Soumillon.The normally mild-mannered Spencer grabbed Soumillon 'in the vacinity of the neck' following the first race and later pleaded guilty to a charge of misconduct.The stewards felt that Spencer was provoked by an earlier verbal comment from Soumillon and fined the Balldoyle stable-jockey in the region of €5,000.Soumillon received a warning regarding his conduct as the stewards felt his comment was inappropriate.
