Spencer looking forward to House Derby favourite Crowded House "excites" jockey Jamie Spencer in his build-up to the new campaign. After finding only subsequent Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf winner Donativum too good in the Timeform Million at Newmarket, Brian Meehan's charge produced a devastating display to take the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster when last seen in October. Spencer said: "I've ridden him once at Brian's in a canter and he seems in good shape. "He's strengthened up a bit and is an exciting horse. "It'll be interesting to see how the next few weeks go. "Whether Brian decides to send him to the Guineas or the Derby, he's certainly got plenty of stamina in his pedigree." Spencer twice partnered the son of Rainbow Quest last season, winning on both occasions, and was particularly impressed by his performance on Town Moor. He added on At The Races: "In the Racing Post Trophy he was extremely impressive. "He was caught in traffic and when he did finally get out, he put quite a lot of distance between himself and the rest. "He's always been an exciting horse and he's in good hands."
