Stable Tour with AT THE RACES Goodwood stable tour with AT THE RACES.2.40 GOODWOOD - FOX Clive Brittain says: 'Fox has already proved he is a Group horse and I think he´ll progress for his last outing. He still has a bit of maturing to do and he´s certainly one to keep on the right side this year. He was a late foal and, since he´s a half-brother to Badminton, who was placed in the Lowther and the Cheveley Park Stakes, we know he comes from a solid family. He should make a lovely three-year-old.'3.15 GOODWOOD - NAYYIR Gerard Butler´s stable manager Chris McGrath says: 'As is well documented, he nearly died in Hong Kong in December 2002, but he is as tough as he is talented and bounced back better than ever last year. We are taking him back to Goodwood, seeking the Group One prize he deserves. He nearly made the breakthrough in the Dubai Duty Free in March, collared in the final strides over a trip beyond his best, and the sharp mile at Goodwood should be ideal. There are a lot of people around who have doubted that Nayyir could be effective over six furlongs, but there have always been good reasons for his previous failures over that trip. I think everyone saw how easily he travelled in his comeback in the Darley July Cup. He was the last horse still on the bridle, and would definitely have got himself involved but for being badly hampered when looking to make his move. In a way, that could be a blessing in disguise because it spared him too hard a race ? he tends to appreciate a good gap between his races. But the signs are that he has taken the race very well and we will be disappointed if he does not run very well.'5.00 GOODWOOD - CLEAR IMPRESSION Peter Chapple-Hyam says: 'Her mother won the Queen Mary for me and she also moves very well. Definitely the best filly I've got and might be my best two-year-old overall.'
