Trainer Fozzy Stack is again on weather watch with his smart sprinter Two Stars who is likely to reappear at Cork next weekend.

The four-time winner’s rating climbed to 108 following a Naas Listed success last April although the six-year-old’s campaigns are very much ground-dependant, as the five-furlongs specialist needs easy ground.

Two Stars’ most recent run was when finishing eighth in the top-level Flying Five Stakes on Champions Weekend in September and Stack now reports “we’re fairly limited where we can go with him due to the ground and while there is a race next weekend in Cork over six (furlongs), I’d say he’ll probably run in it.

“He’ll probably go back for the Woodlands Stakes at Naas, which he won last year and we’ll look at all those Group 3 and Listed races for him, although he’d need a wet summer.”
