Stoute's Ebor fancy ruled out Sir Michael Stoute's Imposing has been ruled out of next week's totesport Ebor at York after being sold to race abroad. The four-year-old had been considered as one of the leading candidates for the famous Knavesmire handicap following an eyecatching run in the John Smith's Cup but is now heading for a new life Down Under. Stoute's other two entries in the race, Jedi and Rosika, also appear doubtful runners. "Imposing has been sold and is in quarantine for Australia. Jedi probably won't make the cut for the Ebor and Rosika would be odds against too," said the Freemason Lodge handler. Henry Cecil intends to saddle Ajaan but believes the handicapper currently has him in his grip. Speaking at the Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival press morning, the trainer said: "As long as the ground is safe he'll take his chance. "He probably has 12lb more than he should have - he has far too much weight - but he has got to race somewhere."
