Straight to Newmarket for Celebrity Andre Fabre revealed High Celebrity will head straight for the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in May without the aid of a prep run. The French maestro landed the fillies' Classic for the first time last year with Miss France and believes he has every chance of repeating the trick with a three-year-old who was last seen finishing third behind Tiggy Wiggy in the Cheveley Park Stakes. Fabre does not expect the step up to a mile to be a problem and will give her a racecourse gallop, rather than a race, ahead of her May 3 assignment. "She is going to be aimed for the 1000 Guineas in Newmarket and will have a racecourse gallop as part of her preparation. She will not run before the Guineas," said Fabre. "She is a nice filly. I think she will stay the mile and I am quite confident she will go close at Newmarket." Fabre looks set to be well represented at the Guineas meeting, with Miss France pencilled in for a return to the Rowley Mile. "Miss France is going to run in the Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket and, on the same day, Manatee, who won a Group Two at Longchamp last October, could run in the Jockey Club Stakes," said the trainer.
