Strong Dunlop challenge in Brownstown

Chantilly Tiffany is joined by Festoso for a strong Dunlop family challenge in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Stakes at Fairyhouse on Wednesday night.

Ed Dunlop's Chantilly Tiffany has some of the strongest form on offer in the Group Three race as the winner of two decent seven furlong races in Germany last season and she ran well in the Windsor Forest Stakes at Royal Ascot last time, finishing fourth to Spacious.

Dunlop's brother Harry is sending over Festoso, a Listed winner at Haydock a month ago, while Aidan O'Brien's 1000 Guineas fourth Heart Shaped leads the home guard.

The in-form Ed Dunlop said: "We were thrilled with her run at Ascot and this was the logical step.

"She has form over the distance and there are not many Group Threes for fillies over seven furlongs around.

"It's a tough race but she seems in good form and hopefully the ground is OK. I wouldn't want it too quick."

Heart Shaped was only sixth behind Ghanaati in the Coronation Stakes on her last start.

She leads the three-year-old representation and has the opportunity to reverse some early Leopardstown form with Jim Bolger's Maoineach, who has been disappointing in subsequent outings.
