Success Days sent on German raid Success Days makes a welcome return to the track when he runs in the Group One Grosser Preis von Bayern at Munich on Sunday. A revelation in the first half of the season, the soft-ground specialist was added to the field for the Derby at Epsom but suffered a stress fracture and trailed home last. Nursed back to full health by trainer Ken Condon, Success Days remains at the top level in Germany for the mile-and-a-half affair, in which he will be ridden by Shane Foley. Speaking from Germany, Condon said: "The track is in good condition. "Ideally, we'd have liked a bit more rain but that's not going to materialise now. "He travelled really well and has been here since Thursday. He's done two canters and everyone has been very happy with him. "We've got a bit to find with a couple of them, but he gets that age allowance and we're hoping he'll give a very good account of himself. "We think he's back to the form he was in during the spring, and we think he's a Group One horse - he's now just got to go out there and show it." Success Days takes on eight rivals, with two-times Group One winner Prince Gibraltar, trained in France by Jean-Claude Rouget, perhaps the biggest danger.
