Summer Is Tomorrow hits the line strong in north Joseph O'Brien's Summer Is Tomorrow made the breakthrough at the third time of asking in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden over an extended seven-furlongs in Down Royal. The 4/1 shot improved into second at the furlong pole and really found his stride to mow down 11/4 favourite Kensington Lane by a head close home. Invincible Will (22/1) completed the placings almost five lengths adrift of the front pair. Dylan Browne McMonagle said: "I was tight all the way and had to just keep hold of my posi as best I could. "He has been a little bit slow out of the gates on his first two starts and thankfully today he jumped good and put himself in a spot. Took a bit of organising down over the road but once I got him balanced up the last furlong he dropped his head and hit the line good. "He's an improving horse and he is only going to get better. He's a solid horse and fingers crossed there is more to come. "Gavin (Ryan on Kensington Lane) kicked and he got a couple of lengths on me at the bottom of the straight. I did feel like he was away because it took a little while for the penny to drop on my fella up the straight but the further I went the better he got."
