Tac in line for Leger bid Tac De Boistron could take his chance in the Palmerstown House Estate Irish St. Leger at the Curragh on September 13. The eight-year-old grey hasn't tasted competitive action since finishing last on quick ground in the Ascot Gold Cup, and was a late defector from the Lonsdale Cup. "I just felt the ground at York was not soft enough for him, so we decided to take him out," said trainer Marco Botti. "He's an eight-year-old now and has had niggling problems - he will have to retire one day. "We will give him some fast work this week and see how he goes, but at the moment we are hoping to go for the Irish Leger, but that will depend on the ground."
