Ten Up preview Ted Walsh is looking forward to Foxrock continuing his progression in the Grade Two Ten Up Novice Chase at Navan on Sunday. Since winning his beginners' chase in November, the Barry Connell-owned six-year-old has taken a step up in class in his stride. After finishing third to Carlingford Lough in the Grade One Topaz Novice Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas, Walsh's charge won at this level in the Woodlands Park 100 Club Novice Chase at Naas last month. Foxrock has to carry a 5lb penalty for that success, and Walsh feels he will be fully tested by the likes of Cootamundra and My Murphy in a five-runner field. "Conditions should suit. Hopefully he jumps another good clear round and takes a step in the right direction," said Walsh. "He won in heavy ground at Naas and got three miles well, so that's not an issue. "Cootamundra is a seasoned chaser and he's rated 135. We're 142 and have to give him 5lb so there's not a lot between them and it should be a good old test for him. "My Murphy is a good horse as well. He maybe didn't run as good as he can last time but won well the time before and I respect him." My Murphy was seven lengths behind Foxrock in December and his trainer Liam Burke said: "He's in good order. He has a bit to find with Foxrock on the run at Leopardstown but gets a bit of weight which is a help. "He'll handle the track and hopefully the ground is loose. We're hoping for a good run. "He just lost a bit of ground going to the last at Leopardstown but it was still a good enough run. "He's a good tough stayer and we've waited for this race. Things went against him last year and he was unlucky, but he's always been a fair horse."
