The Pauline Gavin trained The Lady Granuaile caused a 20/1 upset to win the Limerickraces.ie Mares Beginners Chase at Limerick today, under Alan Crowe.
The American bred daughter of More Than Ready moved into a challenging position from three out and edged past runner-up Sox's Girl from the last for a three lengths win.
Afterwards Gavin stated “she likes that ground and we'll look for something at Galway with her next.”
