Three Pronged Raid For Pipe Martin Pipe will be triple-handed in tomorrow´s totesport Cesarewitch as he attempts to win the Newmarket marathon for a third time. The 15-times champion jumps trainer has claimed the historic contest in the past with Heros Fatal in 2000 and with Miss Fara two years later. He saddles Fortune Island, Penny Pictures and Calamintha this time round. 'Fortune Island has 8st 8lb and Jimmy Fortune has ridden our six-year-old before - he won on him over two miles at Newmarket earlier this season,' the handler´s spokesman, Chester Barnes, told www.martinpipe.co.uk. 'He loves these staying races and although he can pull a bit hard he seems to stay the trip well and I think that he could be in the shake-up at the end. 'Penny Pictures carries 8st 2lb and is another horse that I think is better than his last few runs. 'Our other runner, Calamintha only has 7st 12lb so we have booked a lightweight jockey (Lisa Jones).'
