Tote Increasing UK Betting To Four Meetings Per Day Tote Ireland patrons now have the option to bet on as many as four UK meetings a day.This move aims to boost turnover and to offer punters a better service.Tote general manager John White explains: 'We started co-mingling into the UK Tote pools at last year's Cheltenham Festival and we extended this to one British meeting a day in August. 'We will now do four a day but we won't do more. Our researchers tell us that four is enough for people to handle and enough for our screens at the Irish tracks. 'At the moment we are taking win, place and exacta bets and we hope to extend this early next year to a the full range of UK Tote bets. 'The co-mingling with Britain has been responsible for almost E2 million turnover so far and also UK Tote clients are now betting into Irish fixtures on a daily basis.'
