Tramore preparing for bumper Festival Tramore racecourse stage their annual four-day Festival next week beginning on Thursday 15th August. The festival opens with 'Hurlers and Horses' on Thursday evening when the Waterford County Hurling team will be in attendance. There will be a prize for the Best Dressed Supporter and the on-course action starts at 5:10pm. Friday is also an evening fixture beginning at 5:10pm and the entertainment will continue late into the night with music after racing from The Unusual Suspects. Racing on Saturday kicks off at the slightly earlier time of 4:10pm and features a Best Dressed Lady competition co-sponsored by House of Waterford Crystal and Redlane.ie with prizes on offer totalling €2,500. Sunday is Family Day at the Waterford venue and the racing is due to commence at 2:20pm.
