Two for Coen and three for Mullins as Spasiba overcomes layoff Seven-year-old Spasiba overcame a long absence to win the featured Brennan's Pharmacy Handicap at Tramore. Sent off 3/1, the seven-year-old tracked the leaders for much of the two-mile contest before Coen moved closer with over two furlongs to race. Leading entering the straight, Spasiba kept on strongly to score by four lengths from Miss Gitana. David Casey, assistant to winning trainer Willie Mullins, reported "It was great that he won. Obviously we were concerned that he hadn't had a run, but hopeful because he had been working well at home and seemed in good form. "You don't really know until they run back on the track after such a long layoff. Ben said he won well, so we are absolutely thrilled. Hopefully everything will be okay in the next couple of weeks and we'll try and find a race for him somewhere." Coen was doubling up after the earlier success of the Mullins-trained Rakki, while the Closutton maestro was completing a treble after Davy Crockett got race two in the stewards' room.
