The 10-year-old, who is a regular visitor to England and Scotland and was fourth at Ayr last time, races from 10lb out of the handicap so 7lb claimer Adam Short helps offset that. "The big question is his stamina in the ground I suppose, that's what we'll find out," said Crawford. "He's run well on heavy ground before and we're claiming off him to help. He's been improving with each run this season so I hope he does so again. He'll need a career-best to get involved. "He's in good form, but there are limited options for him really and with this being a good pot, we thought we'd have a go. "Adam is based with me, it's a good opportunity for him and I had no worries about putting him up."
