Viztoria wins the Park Stakes for Lynam Three-year-old Viztoria defied her older rivals with an accomplished performance to take the OLBG Park Stakes. Trainer Eddie Lynam, who sent out Duff to take this contest in 2009, managed to successfully target this Group Two prize again, with Viztoria - off the course since finishing sixth in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot - sprinting away to score under Wayne Lordan. The positively-ridden Lockwood had got the better of 9/4 favourite Gregorian with a quarter of a mile to run, but Lordan was still winding up Viztoria and her final flourish saw her take the spoils by three-quarters of a length. Lordan said: "Eddie told me this morning that she'd travel really well and to sit as long as I could - she did exactly that and went to the line well. She's an improving filly and she's going the right way."
