WELD PLANS FURTHER FOREIGN RAIDS Dermot Weld is certainly not resting on his laurels after the Melbourne Cup victory of Media Puzzle earlier this month, and is planning further international raids from his Curragh yard.Irresistible Jewel will represent the master of Rosewell House in the Japan Cup next week, while Dress To Thrill is `a possible runner` in the Matriarch Stakes at Hollywood Park.Dubai also figures on Weld`s plans, with Media Puzzle and recent Cheltenham hurdle winner Mutakarrim both set to travel there in the new year. `Media Puzzle is on a break, and will come back into training in early January. The Group 1 Sheema Classic in Dubai is under consideration, while I could see him heading back to Melbourne next autumn.`An unusual preparation for the Supreme Novices Hurdle is on the cards with Mutakarrim. `He hates heavy ground, and maybe a trip to Dubai where there are a few races he could run in might be the best way to have him fit for Cheltenham.`
