Walsh Set For Rebel Ride Ruby Walsh is set to stick with Cornish Rebel in Saturday´s Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Newbury. Nicholls is set to saddle three runners in the big handicap at Newbury but Walsh is due to stick with the three-time winner while Paddy Brennan will deputise for the suspended Christian Williams on Red Devil Robert, and Joe Tizzard will partner Colourful Life. 'Cornish Rebel handled good ground in the Scottish National and if it stays frosty that will keep some moisture in the ground,' explained Nicholls. 'He always goes well fresh and has an unbeaten record at Newbury so I imagine Ruby will stick with him. 'Red Devil Robert will benefit from his run at Wincanton and he loves good ground.
