Katie Walsh recalled a "fantastic day" at the Cheltenham Festival last Wednesday after the leading amateur rider won the Champion Bumper aboard Relegate.
Walsh delivered Willie Mullins' inmate with a textbook hold-up rider as the partnership came from last to first to defeat Carefully Selected by a neck at odds of 25-1.
Walsh said: "She was an outsider on the day, so it was a chance that we took and it paid off.
"I don't think you could ride a favourite like that.
"I knew she would stay going and thankfully when she met the rising ground she took off. It was a fantastic day.
"Willie is a master at the bumpers. That's the man you want to be riding for."
